The Children’s Fund was established in 1992 as a public charitable foundation and a supporting organization of the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

More than a decade after its inception, the Children’s Fund remains steadfast in its commitment to maximizing the healthy development of children in Connecticut and, specifically, fulfilling its vision: All children in Connecticut will have access to and benefit from a comprehensive, effective, community-based health and mental health care system.

Toward this end, the Children’s Fund advances and informs sustainable improvements in primary and preventive care practices by leveraging public and private resources and forging strong partnerships.
