 The Children’s Fund of Connecticut is a public charitable foundation dedicated to ensuring that children in Connecticut who are disadvantaged have access to and make use of a comprehensive, effective, community-based health and mental health care system. To carry out this mission, the Children’s Fund champions sustainable improvements in primary and preventive care practices through innovative grant making. The Fund’s primary beneficiary is its subsidiary, the Child Health and Development Institute of Connecticut (CHDI), a nonprofit organization created by the Fund to serve as its operating arm. |
